@Psychotps I've added mods before even deciding to edit the resource.cfg file, but I didn't see them show on CAS or the main menu screen. I would understand if I didn't at first check the script&cc box before restarting my game. First, I left it the way it came, but then I changed the format, but still nothing happened (besides the error I showed).
@omgyamisocringe Ok, this is what I would do to clear it up once and for all... It'll take some time but it's for the best...
1) Go into your MODS directory and DELETE the file resource.cfg
2) Take your entire MODS folder and move it somewhere else like your desktop. Make sure there is NO mods folder left in the old directory, so the mods folder itself is completely gone.
3) Run the game.
- Step 3 will automatically create a new MODS folder and resource.cfg file.
4) Quit the game.
5) Create new directories in the new {empty} mods folder such as...
CLOTHING
HAIR
EYES
DECOR
etc
6) Go through all the directories in the old mods folder on your desktop and copy all the .package and .ts4script and such files into the new directories in your mods folder.
7) DO NOT MODIFY or REPLACE THE RESOURCE.CFG FILE.
8) Run the game - Once loaded make sure to turn on mods and scripts (if you have any) in the options.
9) Quit and re-load the game.
It should work.
