Sometimes my premade Sims can't use their powers/weaknesses?

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.72.28.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all game packs and expansion packs. laundry stuff, vacuum stuff, cool kitchen stuff, my first pet stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You load up the Vampire power book.
What happens when the bug occurs? The checkmark is greyed out and I can't select the powers/weaknesses.
What do you expect to see? I can select all powers/weaknesses. But I cannot click on the checkmark because it is always greyed out.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

So basically I have Vampire sims that are made via CAS/born from another Vampire sim, and I noticed that sometimes, my premade sim is not able to select all weaknesses/powers! However, Vampires born from another Vampire can sometimes use their powers/weaknesses. Is this a glitch? I tried everything, I tried resetting the ranks, and for my premade sims, the checkmark is still greyed out.

    @crinrict Yes. If you remove a vampire sim's vampire powers with the points then it'll just show the same powers that you have. I can't undo the weakness/powers.

    @chocogotho No, I mean cure them from being a Vampire, then make them a Vampire again. Are they still the same level if you do that ?

    @crinrict Yes. That is what I meant to say. When you turn them normal, and back into a vampire, they still keep the same weakness/power points.

    Have you tried making and drinking the Ultimate Vampire Cure to make your Sim human, then asking another vampire to turn your Sim back into a vampire and waiting while your Sim goes through the turning process? It sounds to me like you are relying on cheats, which isn't the same as using normal game mechanics and might not have the same results.

    ETA: Sorry, it doesn't look like that will make a difference. I tried with Vlad drinking the cure and then turning back to vampire. It did remove all his powers and weaknesses but he had his original rank when he finished the transformation process, along with the power and weakness points from his original rank. Looks like there's no hope for your Sims who already have too many weakness points.
