Sony Vaio graphical glitches/ Help

Installed sims 4 on my sony vaio laptop. I am unable to play. Upon starting the game the inital video plays fine then the screen fills with colored lines. Then the main meun pops up and looks fine except for colored stripes over the buttons (close, start, ect.). Game play is fine but the buttons still have lines over them the rest of the graphics are fine. Could anyone help me solve this problem? Thanks.
