Stuck on an endless loading screen
Hey ya'll, just wondering if anyone else keeps getting stuck on long loading screens? It seems to be a big issue for me when my sim is at home and wants to travel specifically to any of the San Myshuno festivals. I'm having to bring up the task manager just to get the game to close, and it doesn't save my game beforehand.
samanslyn Please make sure you can access these lots in a new save, for comparison's sake. You don't need to spend much time on the save, just enough to test the lots that are giving you trouble. If they don't work in the new save either, stop here and let me know.
If you can load the lots in the new save, but not your current one, please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you see. Try again to travel to an affected lot, in your current save, and when it doesn't work, look for a new LE. If you find one, open the file, delete its first line of text, and attach it to a reply here. Alternately, you can copy the text and paste it into your reply.
You don't need to wait too long when trying to load this lot, really no more than double your normal wait time, or perhaps even less. A lastexception should be generated as soon as the lot would normally load, perhaps even sooner.
