Danideejay To be clear, the same issue happens in a new save, with fresh sims and default EA-made lots, nothing from the Gallery? And it happens no matter what lot you try to load?
You can certainly try reinstalling the game if you want, and if you have the time. It shouldn't do any harm. I have other suggestions that I personally would try first, but you might not want to wait for my responses. Reinstalling won't remove your rewards from the login events, which are tied to your account.
What I would like to know, before or after the reinstall, is whether the Sims 4 user folder is inside the OneDrive folder. Here's how to find the exact location:
