LadyTaurus89  It would be interesting if the problem were how the sims were killed... but it sounds like the methods you're using to kill sims are mod-related, at least some of the time.  And I'm not saying that this is entirely the mods' fault, but it is possible that the game isn't responding well to the deaths being triggered in this way.

You may already know this, but handing a sim a flower arrangement scented with a death flower causes them to age up, which for an elder means dying of old age.
