"The new content" windows keep appear
Every time you download some new expansion pack, game pack or stuff pack there's the "New content" window appears when you run the game with something new for the first time. Well, in my game the windows keep appear even if I've already run the game and content. It's quite annyoing cause I have to close all those windows before I accually play. It's not connected with mods. I tried to play without them and it gave nothing;.

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming the files do it differently then instructions though
- Put back your files in mods, tray, saves, custom music, videos and screenhot first
- Start the game, You will see the the screen again (and many others). Go through them all
- Reset your options to what they were
- Restart the game and see if those welcome screens still occur.
