The sims 4 : CC and MODS NOT WORKING!!!!!

Did you follow the instructions on the mod file installation?  I glanced around it seems like most of them want you to just put a .ZIP file that is still a ZIP file inside:

(ex. C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\)

But it varies by mod I'm sure.

I'm no Sims expert by far... but I'm pretty sure a "Tuning" mod is when a game's file is changed slightly to alter the game.  (exmaple overwriting an XML file)

A script is when something extra is added, probably written in Python. 

There is no "unscripting" and "re-scripting" that just doesn't make sense... but heck I might be wrong too
