Can you try if deleting cache files does anything for you: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/

I always open Origin when playing the game so I guess it's online (I can use Gallery)
Tried deleting cache files for both game and Origin as your instruction, but I still got the error notice 😕mileysad:

this link you provided I followed it and it did nothing. it might be because I have a mac not a pc/windows

I got this message after an update..found the answer for everyone..it's caused by a conflict with a mod...or (item) in mod folder..find and download Mod Conflict detector by Dmitrymalfatto..install run scan...remove items in dark blue..one at a time..restart sims 4..usually its only one or two items causing the problem
