The Sims 4 Create A Sim Demo Activation Code?

Tried to download the free create a sim demo, but it says activation code required? As of what I know, nobody else needed an activation code and not everyone was asked for an activation code? How am I supposed to know what the code is.....

    Check if you have one if you click on info on the game in Origin.

    It is indeed strange that you should need one.

    To download the sims4 create a sim demo, you don't need a activation code. If you have an Origin account, you can download it from the "free games" menu.

    I had the same problem but found a solution type into google /what websearch you use type in origin then log in after that log in and find the sims 4 game demo then simply click download I hope this helped you

    Origin is asking you for a code on the Demo version ?

    What happens if you press enter with no code added ?
