The Sims 4 Cursor Missing

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? PC: 1.63.134.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all EPs, GPs, and SPs minus Spooky, Moschino, My First Pet, and Romantic Garden.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not exactly sure. It happens as soon as I open the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? I open The Sims 4 and my cursor is gone, the Sims 4 cursor, the desktop cursor is still there. The smaller cursor like when you edit a Sim's body in CAS is still there but when I try to edit in CAS I can't control it properly. When I try to rotate the camera, both in CAS and in the game itself (With Sims 3 Camera on) it just spins and spins and I have to use the arrow keys.
What do you expect to see? The cursor should come back and I would like to edit Sims properly and not have the camera go out of whack because I tried to move it ever so slightly.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I assume this happened after the June 3rd Update (PC: 1.63.133.1020) , but I only opened my game after the June 4th Update (PC: 1.63.134.1020). I

The Sims 4 Cursor disappears when I open the game either before the June 4th Update or the June 3rd Update. First it's just a spinner but if I switch to my desktop and then go back into The Sims 4 it turns into my normal cursor. The controls have gone screwy and I cannot play the game properly now.

  • @RavenWuffles  Please disable any overlays you have running while you play: Steam, Discord, etc.  Disable Origin in-game as well: hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.

If this doesn't help, please disable Game Bar.  It's a Windows function under Settings > Gaming.  And if that doesn't help either, disable Windows notifications while you play.
