My sims had a baby and when both parents went to work a message came up saying that the baby went to daycare when both parents came home the baby didn't come back when does the baby come back from daycare? it is the next day so does daycare mean that it was taken away?
UPDATE: Whe I launched the game this morning the baby was back so I guess you just have to save and exit the game and re-launch the game.

If you have got enough perks you can buy the no charge for all services perks, then you can hire a nanny as often as you need.
I don't save it if I a child or pet taken away, then next time I play I find moving another adult sim into the household to look after it or move the child or pet into another household,
