The Sims 4 doesn't let me get out once I tab the windows key

Hi. Basically, my Sims 4 game (suddenly) after reinstalling it doesn't let me "get out" whenever I hit the Windows tab on my computer (or even click another program to take me out of the game) as it did before. I don't know what it is... thanks if someone see this and takes the time to help me!

I will attach the two screenshots for more info.

My Sims 4 game is up to date! P.S: Also if I hit in download or repair the game sometimes it pops up a message on the EA App saying an unknown error ocurred try again later or reach for support. I have tried restaring my computer, cleaning the cache files as well.

Sims 4 Game Version right now: 1.107.151.1020

@Simtasticgallery  When you or your dad reinstalled the D drive, did you make sure it was fully inserted and secured?  The drive should sit parallel to the motherboard, and it's typically secured with a screw and a standoff.  Please make sure it's not popping up and hasn't been screwed directly into the motherboard—either of these would change the angle enough to potentially cause the problems you're seeing.

If that's not the issue, it's still a good idea to remove the drive, clean the contacts with a microfiber cloth, blow out the socket with compressed air, and reinsert the drive.

If this doesn't help, your C drive has more than enough space for Sims 4 now, even with all current packs installed.  So simply reinstalling to C is a reasonable workaround.

@puzzlezaddictYeah sure, let me upload the screenshots.

As of right now is installed in the SSD (D Disk) and the Documents are linked to OneDrive or that's what it says but I don't use OneDrive and I don't sign up to say those documents are synced. My Dad says de D disk is good, but it could have been having problems lately because of reheating perhaps? That's what he thinks when he placed it again inside.

Yeah, yesterday, my Dad added another local disk called H (to left the C alone) so I reinstalled The Sims there and it has worked so far.

    Thanks once again!
