The Sims 4 is stuck on resuming installation on Origin

I was installing The Sims 4 on Origin and somehow the installation got paused. So I clicked resume, and it's now been stuck on "resuming installation" for over an hour. How can I fix this and make it finish the installation? I tried taking the disc out, putting it back in, I tried the second disc and that didn't work, and it won't let me log out of or uninstall Origin until the game's installation is completed. Please help.
