The Sims 4 not displaying new update's descriptions

Hi!

After the recent update, everything that is new, e.g. the new world selector, basements etc. doesn't display a description. Where the text should be there is a blank space. However in the Collector's journal the Easter eggs that my sim has collected says **DEBUG**. Above the sim's head, by the whims, when you hover over the pin icon it also displays nothing. Please help with this issue it is annoying and I cannot see what the new stuff does. 😕mileysad:

    Solved this problem by deleting the TS4.exe file in the game directory and "reinstalling" the game.

    Any chance you wouldn't mind saying how you got to that file, cause knowing me I'll delete the wrong thing.

    I've attached some pics just to confirm you were having the same problem as me; I tweeted these to both EA Games and The Sims but got no response, why I didn't come to my fellow Simmers sooner was to give them time to respond.

    I've been a Simmer for manys years I have every game bar the last two seeing as the game is missing icons etc its hard for me to join in as I would like ☹️
