When loading up the Sims 4, and entering to the main menu of the game, there is a game ad that shows up. If you miss the X button the box disappears and the whole screen becomes unable to use and I have to force a restart because nothing happens. This is a bug. It happens with and without any mods what so ever.
I posted about this same issue the other day. Managed to resolve either by doing a factory reset on my Sims 4 folder (and re-adding all my saves, tray files and mods). Otherwise tried by verifying integrity of game files via Steam. And then when I open again it seems to work. But every other day the same thing keeps happening. Definitely sounds like a bug after the new update.
