So I have tried every step you suggested.
And I still get the problem...
9 min of play and the game just shut down.
But I have been playing Fortnite for like 4 hours without any shut downs.. So IDK...
@auvbri Please try playing in a clean boot:
The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run. Disable the rest as described.
When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled. If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.
Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window.
If you get another crash, try the clean boot again but with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
When testing, please use another new save in another clean Sims 4 folder, just to keep things as simple as possible.

So I did the clean boot. The Sims 4 still crashed. Then I did it again and took the game offline.
Now I'm getting a new kind off error.
So first it says there is an unsolved issue. I restart the app.
Then it says it crashed and I will update.
A window then pops up and says, that EA APP is already up to date, and then closes.. And this is just a continued loop.
Could it be the EA APP that makes the game crash?
I have attached 2 screenshots of the new error@auvbri The EA App could certainly be the issue here, or at least an issue. Just checking, but did you sign into the App while your computer was online, and let it load fully before putting it in offline mode and then disconnecting from the internet? The App does sometimes take a while to load, and cutting off that process could cause both of these errors.
Otherwise, please uninstall it with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine). Use the Intensive scanning method when asked, and restart your computer. Download a fresh copy of the App installer, and run it as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Then try again to play normally, and if that doesn't work, in the clean boot and while offline.
So I have tried your latest ideas.
It seems to have done the job. I have played for hours today, and only 1 crash. That might have been a mod tho.
So idk, maybe this did the trick?
