The Sims 4 will NOT launch/open

Hey. Been trying for literal hours, scrolling all of the other pages and trying other peoples fixes multiple times. Freshly installed the sims 4 after a long time to play on my pc, ive reset my PC b...

@CreepyVibes101 This is exactly what happens when an antivirus blocks Sims 4 from opening, although there are of course other possible causes. It may or may not be enough to simply set exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and Origin.exe—some antivirus programs have additional settings that can be a problem. For example, if you use Avast, AVG, or Sophos, please see this guide:

If adjusting your antivirus settings doesn't help, please let me know which one you use. Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
