6 years agoHi @randomanimal514,
Thanks for calling out that there's no mods or CC. 🙂 Let's try this sequence of troubleshooting:
- Repair your game: To repair your game:
- Select My Game Library in Origin.
- Right-click on the game tile.
- Select Repair Game. We'll repair the game. Click on the spoiler tag to see the steps.
Keep in mind that the file check can take up to an hour to complete depending on your computer's hardware. After repairing the game, see if the uploading is still an issue.
- Make a Back-up: It's always good to have a back-up in case anything goes unexpectedly. To do this, head to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and copy the file. Paste it onto your desktop and you are ready to proceed with the next step.
- Uninstall, clear origin cacheagain and reinstall the game: Check out this guide on how to clear origin cache if you're unsure of those steps.
- Clean boot. This is thee next step, should the issue persist. We have an EA Help guide for this too called "How to clean or safe boot your PC or Mac" that will provide a step-by-step walk through of how to perform that.
Please let us know if those steps have helped you with this.
