Tray and save files

Hey! What's the difference between save and tray files and do you need both? Or can I delete tray files for example?

  • Hi ndnvtd8at77z

The tray files contain all the Sims and houses you saved to your library. Saves contains your save game.

    Both are important.

Thank you for letting me know! I have another question and I'd really appreciate if you have an answer. If I go to my sims document folder, and I go to saves, I see "save" and then versions, what are those? Can I delete the versions

The .save file of a certain slot is always the newest version, the save.ver files of the same slot are older versions. The .ver files can be used to restore a save if something is wrong with the .save. file.
