Trouble with Language Settings: How to Change In Game Language from Ger to Eng?

My old Laptop crashed, so I had to reinstall Sims 4 via EA App on a new laptop.

Before that, Origin sent me over to EA App without any further problems.

Now I reinstalled the game and everything is in german. I can't find a way to change it back to english, and I didn't find any instructions to do so the last two hours googling. I knew how to do it with Origin, but I've never done it with EA App. Can anyone help me please? I'm very desperate...

@LiLa_YelLowXHello, Unfortunately, the only option is to reinstall the Sims 4 game and choose the language you want during installation.
I hope that in the future it will allow me to switch the game from my native language Czech to English whenever I want without having to reinstall the game.

@LiLa_YelLowXHello, Unfortunately, the only option is to reinstall the Sims 4 game and choose the language you want during installation.
I hope that in the future it will allow me to switch the game from my native language Czech to English whenever I want without having to reinstall the game.

I have the same issue only with Polish instead of German. I bought the game in the UK, then moved back to Poland, the whole time played in English. After changing from Origin to EA app I suddenly have options to play only in Polish, Czech or Russian.. Where's the sense in this? I bought global keys, I should have access to all languages as I had before

@goldpinksky Best to contact customer support if you lost languages

Languages seem a bit tricky atm so if you can, go back to Origin.

@goldpinksky The way I did it was inspired by @LTasare: I uninstalled Sims in the EA App and then changed the language of the EA App to English (first step) before reinstalling Sims 4. But I do not know if this is necessary.
Subsequently: before I reinstalled Sims 4, I was asked for the language in which I want to install. There I selected English. I think when I still had the EA App set to German, there was no option to select another language. Not sure though. Maybe this will help.

I had the EA app in English from the beginning and still had only 3 languages to choose from.
I also contacted EA support. They couldn't help me. They raised some ticket and said to up vote similar issues on this website (which I obviously did😉)
I guess the only option I have left is to move back to Origin which I'll probably try soon.

I tried that didn't work for me - my language seems like Indian or Thai, even when i uninstall on the app and reinstall making sure it's in English the language stays the same. Can anyone help?

@ghushdq0hjo7 Are you sure this isn't due to a mod? Neither Thai nor any Indian language is supported in-game, but I've seen a mod that includes a Thai localization. If you're not sure, please empty out your Mods folder and test.
