TS4 Crashing on Startup
Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC - Windows 10
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the error occur? 100% of the time.
What is your current game version number? 1.47.51.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? The only expansion, game, or stuff pack that I don't have is Get Famous.
What happens when the error occurs? After repairing or restarting the game it will load to the title menu but as soon as I click on anything it will freeze, then crash to the desktop. After it crashes the first time, it won't even get to the title menu for me to click anything and it will crash on the Sims 4 title screen. The music stops and starts until the game freezes for a second and crashes to the desktop.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, it's only CC and in one of the things I tried to fix my game with, I removed all CC and mods and it still didn't work.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I'm not 100% sure but I believe it may have started after the November 13th patch. However, I haven't tried to play the game for a while (a few months I'd guess).
I have tried troubleshooting myself with the help of my fiance and neither of us can figure out why this is happening. I've taken all mods and CC out of my game, repaired the game (more than once), uninstalled the game and reinstalled it all, uninstalled the game and reinstalled everything except the newest expansion (Seasons), updated my video drivers, updated Windows 10, tried restarting my computer, tried restarting origin, made a pathway exception to origin/TS4 in my antivirus, tried clearing TS4 cache, and there might have been something else but at this point this is my last hope.
This also only started happening after I got Seasons and wanted to play but as I stated above, I tried playing without having Seasons installed and it still crashed at the title menu/TS4 title screen.
I am attaching the dxdiag, the latest crash log (From today), and one of the crashes from the 17th when all of this started.
