UI flickering and flashing during normal gameplay

After the latest Sims 4 update, I'm getting a lot flickering and flashing when moving the mouse cursor between elements. This flickering and flashing is so frequent that it causes me headaches and p...

Here are pictures of the flickering, they weren't accepted by the original post.

These flickers only last for a single or couple of frames.
