UI Interface Crashes After Opening Simology Panel

Before I mention my issue, my game version is 1.112.519.1020 DX11.

Hey, you guys might remember that glitch from this past July where peoples UI interface would become unresponsive and getting to the save button became impossible.

When I encountered this issue, I did everything online and even the 50/50 on my mod list but nothing changed. I then stopped playing for the past 7 months. I read on this bugfix that EA released that my issue was patched, but I have the most up-to-date version of the game and have just encountered my problem again.

    That report seems have been for console.

    What platform are you playing on ?

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. 
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
