So after the update, anytime I just enter build mode then leave, the manage worlds option and my entire UI just disappears. It also has the red border around it like it's paused, but the game is continuing and I can't control my sim at all.

qmxg4udwum9x Please test with no mods or custom content at all, as in, move your Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. You don't need to save your progress.
If your main save is still affected, please test a new save, for comparison's sake.
If the new save is affected too, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
