There's more than one driver. What have you made sure is updated?
I'm having a similar problem I'm able to build stuff but I can't interact with anything in live mode. It was working fine the first time I launched it, I don't know what changed but ever since then I keep having the same problem, I highly doubt its problem caused by a driver not being updated because of this.
