Unable to install Home Chef Hustle After Purchase

I had the same issue, what worked for me:

- Go to the Sims 4 page on the EA app

- Click on manage

- Click on manage add-ons

- The pack should show up on the top and it should say download next to it

I submitted the error report got this ID

How fast will this be resolved.?

I bought Chef Hustle and Modern Luxe packs and can't download either. 

I have repaired the game and the EA App. Still nothing. I click download and it says "stomping on grapes" and then nothing...

I'm sorry to hear you're still experieincing issues with Horse Ranch, this is definitely not the experience we want for you and I'd love to look into this a bit further to get this resolved for you. 

Is the download for Horse Ranch still stuck on preparing, or are you running into a different error message when you try to install the pack?

There was an update to the EA app and now "preparing" isn't even an aspect of it. Now it just doesn't do anything when I click the button to install. No response or reaction.

I am having this same issue. I click download and sometimes a loading screen appears for a brief moment but then the download never starts.
