Unable to play sims 4 (and a small twins/triplets "bug"?)

It began today (20th of December) after I transferred a baby sim to another household since my couple got twins instead of just one child. (Rude, I know.)

But when I tried to click the "play" button on my household, it loaded like usual, but went right back to an overlook of the town. I tried again. Clicked the play button on the household, and it spawned right back to the overlook. I restarted the game and decided to go back to a previous game. Once again it refused to let me see the lot, and went right back to overlook. I also tried to click the "build/buy" option, but it wouldn't show me the lot. I restarted again and made a new household, the CAS system worked fine, I bought a lot for them to live on, but it spawned back to overlook after the purchase. Which leaves me to only CAS, which is great. But I want to play with the sims too.

(and now for a veery small "problem" compared to the previous one)

I also noticed that since the last update, the chance to have twins and triplets has increased massively. I thought it might be linked to the mothers well-being during the pregnancy? I couldn't see any links between her actions during the pregnancy and the occurance of twins/triplets.

Thankful for any answers 🙂

My friend has a pregnancy scanner mod in her game and every time her Sim has become pregnant she has had twins. In my game, with no mods, my Sim had twins, then had a single birth, then twins again. I would definitely say there's a bug in the code for twins/triplet probability.

    It's a bug for sure.

There's a thread in the bug reporting forum now
