Unable to Start - Video Card Error

I bought my laptop 4 years ago specifically for gaming. Sims 3 played without issue, but I recently had to have the hard drive replaced. I receive the "unable to start: can't run the Sims 4 with the video card in this system" every time I try to launch from Origin. I have disabled Origin in game play and updated all of my disc drivers. My new(er) laptop with less memory plays the Sims 4 just fine, but I'd really like to have it installed on both computers. I've run the diagnostics and the results are below. Please help!

Yeah, that looks bare any card.

Take that to a shop and get it looked into (or a tech savy friend). This goes beyond help that can be provided in this forum.

  • Could you attach your complete DxDiag ?

That looks like your computer is not recognizing your card anymore. Do you have a card in there ?

When you go to the device manager in windows, do you see any cards in there ?

Sorry for the delayed reply, it's been a busy weekend. I know for sure that I bought the laptop with a video card and am wondering if it has been inadvertently removed during repair. Also, this laptop was not used for 2 years before last week. Would that affect the video drive? It does have a new hard drive. I've attached the full diagnostics; hopefully, that will provide some insight. Thanks much!!!

Can you check the device manager and check if you have anything shown there under graphics card ?

Seems there's not much recognized and you might need to reinstall the drivers.

I've attached a screen capture of my device manager. I'm not sure what I'm looking for. If I do need to reinstall the drive, could you kindly post how-to instructions? Thanks!!!

You need to go to Toshiba support site and download the display driver for that particular model. There are several Satellite P775 sub models. Somehow you don't have any video drivers installed. The bad news is I think (not sure) but the video chip is part of the I7 cpu which in this case is Intel HD 3000. This is below the minimum required to play this game. It may play with proper drivers but again it is below the minimum requirement.

Thank you so much for the assistance... I took it in for repair and the tech installed an Intel graphics driver and I'm back in Simming business!
