unable to start: initialization error

hey need some help. everytime i try to start up the sims 4 game from my desktop an error shows up saying its unable to start and initialization failed. ive searched the forums for some solutions but none of them worked. i tried reinstalling both sims 4 game and ea app, didnt work(both uninstalled with the revo app) tried starting it from the folder, already unblocked it from any of the anti virus programs i have and windows fire wall too, deleted all my mods. also already did a clean cc cleanup(ive seen that my microsoft visual 2015-2022 is outdated, would it have caused this problem?) restarted my computer multiple times deleted all temp files if that helps? idk what else to do since ive tried literally everything...any tips?

  • @baalsgf  The initialization error is currently most often caused by antivirus software blocking Sims 4.  So please disable your antivirus (temporarily), repair the game, and test.  As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer shoudl be safe.  If this helps, you can set exceptions for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64, or the entire Bin folder.

If that doesn't help, please try the other suggestions in the first post of this thread, which is for a different but related error:

I'm having the same issue I think. I can get as far as the start page and that's it. If I try to go to CAS or Load Game, all I get is a white page. I can't x out of it. I have to ctrl alt del out of it.
