Unable to turn on script mods in game options

I am currently unable to turn on script mods in the Game Options menu and I can't turn off the enable mods and custom content option. I've restarted the app multiple times, repaired the game twice, once with my mod folder and the second time removing my mod folder from the Sims 4 file entirely and I'm still having the issue even with no mod folder or mods. This started after the update 3 weeks ago and none of the updates have fixed it.
