Uninstall and reinstall game
First, I'd like to start by saying I have the Sims 4 on Steam - I have the free holiday pack, digital deluxe, seasons, vampires, city living, cats and dogs, vintage glamour, and laundry day.
I'm taking my computer in to both be wiped and have an SSD installed. I'd like to uninstall as many things as possible before I do so Steam doesn't think I still have the stuff installed when I go to reinstall everything again. I copied my mods and tray folders to an external hard drive and my saves and custom music folders to Google Drive. When I reinstall, all I would have to do is drag everything back to their places and it will be as though I never uninstalled, correct?
Additionally, when you uninstall through Steam/Windows (I was informed that either method works) does it uninstall the base game + all the packs or do I have to do them one by one? And what happens when I uninstall Origin? I obviously would wait to do that until after I uninstalled the game.
