VRAM capacity enough?

Hi! Not sure if this is the right place to ask about this but I am about to buy a new PC and I came across one that I think will meet my expectations. The only thing I’m still on the fence about is the graphics card. Not sure if 16GB VRAM will cut it if I’m planning to play the sims 4 at 4K with all its DLCs plus 5-10 GB worth of mods and possibly a reshade preset installed. I’d appreciate any input to either encourage or discourage me from making the purchase. My specs are as follows:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, 8 Kerne, 3.8 bis 5.5 GHz
  • Cooler: MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240 A13 weiß, ARGB Wasserkühlung (leise)
  • RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000 MHz (2x16GB), Dual-Channel
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, 16GB GDDR7
  • Mainboard: ASUS Prime B650-Plus Wifi, AMD B650, ATX, inkl. WLAN+Bluetooth
  • Sound: 7.1 (8-Kanal) Surround-Sound, Digital Audio, onboard
  • WirelessLAN (Wi-Fi 5), Bluetooth 4.2, GigabitLAN (integriert)
  • M.2 SSD: 2000 GB M.2 SSD (NVMe)
  • Power supply: be quiet! System Power 11B 750W, 80+ Bronze, ATX 3.1
  • Case: ATX-Midi XPG Starker Air, Liquid, weiss
  •  Windows 11

As for the cc used, if it's high enough to drive up RAM usage by more than a couple of gigabytes, it's high enough to drag down performance due to the game engine, to the point where you wouldn't be able to use that much of it due to the game's limitations, not your PC.  ReShade does have an impact, but here again, it's not that large when using presets that actually work okay with the game.

This build is massive overkill for Sims 4, and I wouldn't never tell anyone they needed this much power (or to spend this much money) just for the game.  But if you want this build or something like it for other reasons, it'll do great with Sims 4.
