@asdfmovie2552 are you talking about not being able to see the wall light when you have walls set to cutaway view? If so, then yes, that is expected behavior. If a wall item is placed on the part of the wall that is cutting away, it will not be shown. Most wall objects follow this rule (paintings and other décor, windows, etc.); mirrors seem to be one weird exception in that they don't disappear (they probably should because it looks weird!)..
No, it's not that. It's that the actual light that comes from it cuts off on the edge of the wall.

@asdfmovie2552 , I'm not sure, but I think it is a graphical oversight on the developers part. I never noticed it in my game, but I'm sure it exists in my game and its just that it never bothered me personally.😉 If you put different light fixtures on the same bit of wall, does the same effect happen, or is it just certain light fixtures? 🤔
If it happens in everybody's game and enough people are bothered by it, then there might be a Mod that can fix it (but I don't play with Mods, so I don't know).
I'm pretty sure it's the same with all the lights, but yeah it's not really that bothering, the thing is that this game has a lot of these minor graphical things that don't look the best. I hope if there ever is a The Sims 5 that they put a bit more work into it 🙂

I'm surprised I never noticed it! things like that usually bother me! LOL 😃 Maybe I'm just more upset about clothing or home décor that doesn't match. 🤒 😉 Or how all the townies now wear ridiculous outfits! 😠
I would think lighting would be a tricky thing to get right, but I wouldn't begin to know that since I'm not into coding or whatever. I guess they never figured on someone with as sharp an eye as yourself to notice it! 🙂
