I'm afraid that chipset you have (graphics) is not supported by the game.
You can check if there are newer graphics drivers for it from the Intel Download Center: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/

The driver update isn't going as easily as I hoped 😛 It just won't install
As you discovered your Graphics driver is very old and need an update. Your PC is borderline for running the Sims 4. Set graphics to low and enable laptop mode. This should help. Also you do not have enough free room on your HDD for temporary files. You will run into issues because of this so you need to remove unneeded files and programs to free up space.
@jpkarlsen So I cleared up a fair bit of memory, I had photos taking up wayyy more space than I had thought which is a shame as there are some games I could have avoided uninstalling!
I tried the Intel Driver & Support Assistant to update the driver for me but according to that, the driver is up to date??
I've changed the graphics to low, the laptop mode wasn't really clear, I could see that I'd hit a button but not if I had changed it to off or on so I tried it a couple times but unfortunately that hasn't seem to have done the trick either.
Yes, I see this processor has not been supported for several years. Hopefully the other tips I posted will make it possible for you to play the game. Only other option would be to buy a new PC.
