This looks like the issue I’m having! I’ve played sims over the years and decide to jump back in. Realized origin is no longer, so redownloaded through EA App on my windows pc.
my DLC all show up and “downloadable” but when I try to load there is an error. I cleared my cache and repaired the game. When I click on “manage add-ons” they are all listed, but say manage on steam. I don’t think I ever had a steam account though. Help!
I just created a steam account to see if there was a way to transfer content. But obviously the dlc wouldn’t be on the new account I just made? I should check my husband’s steam, maybe I accidentally used his?
Hi, I have the same issue, did you figure it out?

Don't "necropost." Reviving, updating or bumping old, outdated and irrelevant threads is not helpful for our community. It's best to check when the thread was created before you hit post, just to make sure it's not 2 years old for example.
