Why are the new sims 4 packs I just bought not downloading properly
I just bought Dine out yesterday and let it download. I opened my game and the pop up you’d normally see when buying a new pack or kit didn’t show up, I did get a pop up saying that I had content that wasn’t finished downloading and that I could see it by clicking shift+f1 but nothing after that. I ended up buying the pastel pop kit to see if the game pack would download properly with that one. It didn’t. I’ve been messing around with my computer deleting things thinking it was because I didn’t have enough space I looked through different threads, I cleared the app cache before and after re-downloading the packs but they didn’t say installed. I clicked the help button on the download page in the EA app but nothing has worked I caved and uninstalled the game but when reinstalling it the Extra Content drop down doesn’t show Dine out or the pastel pop kit? I bought a kit a month ago and that went just fine it downloaded and showed up in game which is why I think it may just be my computer? I haven’t tested it after reinstalling yet but I figured asking wouldn’t hurt
@TheLazyDin0 Please clear the EA App's cache and then repair the game before trying to download the packs. You can download by clicking on the Sims 4 icon in your game library and selecting Manage > Manage Add-ons, then finding the packs on the list.
If that doesn't help, try reinstalling Origin and downloading the packs from there. You don't need to uninstall the EA App; just don't try to run both of them at the same time.
