@LDB123Ali Does the pack show as owned in Origin? Open your Origin game library, cllick on the Sims 4 icon, select More > Expansion Packs, scroll down to Discover University, and see what the orange button says. If it says Download, you can do so; Play or Details means it's already installed; Buy Now means Origin thinks you don't own it.
If the pack is downloaded but won't show in-game, the issue may be that you're running the Legacy Edition of Sims 4. All new packs starting with DU won't run in the Legacy Edition. In this case, you can request a refund from EA customer support:
https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
Support is on limited hours right now, with phone calls entirely unavailable and live chat only open from 9 am to midnight GMT, Monday through Saturday.
If the button on the pack says Buy Now, contact support to find out why your purchase didn't go through.

Hi! My daughter is having a similar problem. She bought and downloaded an expansion pack "snowy mountain" (snöiga bergen here in Sweden), but cant play it. It doesn't show even though we've updated Sims after searching for answers on the problem.
She has the Sims 4 digital deluxe version, I don't see "Legacy" written anywhere so I don't think that's the problem here. The expansion pack is marked as "owned" and downloaded but we simply can't play it.
Can we get som advice?

@LoMajken If you load the game to the Main Menu, where you can choose to load a save or start a new one, the game version (patch level) will be listed along the bottom of the screen or in the lower right corner. The last four digits show whether the Legacy Edition is running: .1020 and .1220 mean the standard version (Windows and macOS, respectively); .1520 and .1620 denote the LE.
If your daughter does in fact have the Legacy Edition installed and can't run the standard version on her computer, she or you can request a refund from EA customer support.

She had both "standard" and legacy installed. I deleted Legacy and the version still in the Mac is the 1220-version.
Do you have a link that will take us to easily understandable instructions for getting access to/being able to play the expansion packs? I really can't see why it needs to be an issue – bought expansion packs just ought to show/be playable when installed.
An older expansion pack is showing as we open/start a game.
But since I have close to zero experience in any sort of gamling, I might need extra help/be shower than most. Is there a link for my kind?
