Why do I have to install origin?

Why do I have to install origin? I've recently bought The Sims 4 and I have a windows 10 hp laptop and I don't get a lot of storage and installing origin uses my gigabytes and I don't have enough to download sims onto my laptop?!

Sims 4 runs through Origin so it seems it has to be installed to work.

Try deleting unwanted files on your laptop.

I also have a hp laptop running on windows 10.

You may be able to add more GB somehow, you could try taking it to a computer shop, and imply.

Origin is what verifies that you have a legal game. And it's needed, same goes with a lot of games and Steam, or Uplay.

You could opt for an external drive and install your games on that. You can all set that up in the option menu in Origin.
