Why won't the "Careers Unlock" (bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement) cheat work?

I am using an older version of the sims 4, back to when it did not have a pool option. When I try to use the "Careers Unlock" Cheat (I have the "Testing Cheats" cheat on), it does not work. Does anyo...

    Pirating is stealing and hence against the rules.

    It might also not be the best of ideas to ask of help on the official site of the publisher of the game.

you should really update your game. You can do so through Origin.
