A CD player doesn't affect game performance.
So there is no way it will play the game? Even if I get a graphics card? What else woud I need to get it to even play on the lowest settings?
Laptops can't be upgraded.

The questions was more what price range computer you're looking at. You won't get a laptop for $300 that's suitable for gaming.
- I've got an Acer Aspire ES1 15.6 Inch Celeron 8GB 1TB Laptop and I've been able to start up sims 4 fine, the resolutions on everything was set to low automatically by the game but it seems to be working okay.
