When my game is in fullscreen or windowed fullscreen, everything looks high quality and smooth. However, it lags/stutters in these modes so I've decided to try windowed mode. Now it doesn't lag, but the quality is very pixelated and choppy, even though all the graphics settings remain the same.
In windowed mode it uses Windows settings It doesn't really matter what is specified in the game.
It seems that you should run it fullscreen and turn the graphics down a bit so it doesn't lag so much. but still looks OK.
