windows and glass roofs aren't casting shadows?

What happens when the bug occurs? windows and glass roofs aren't casting shadows in a room
What do you expect to see? shadows cast by windows and glass roofs

i've found that there are only shadows cast when i remove a part of a wall, and when in a room, there are no shadows. even when i removed all my mods and cc, this still happened. can someone help? is this normal?
@preshbillie I know that you said that you moved your mods/CC, but if you haven't already, please also take the following steps after removing them: 1) clear your cache, 2) repair the game via Origin, 3) start a new save, and 4) test the issue in the new save. It may also be your graphic settings; settings lower than high/very high tend to show fewer details, such as shadows. Please let me know what your settings are.
