Won't load

Since I updated my game yesterday, my game just sits on the loading screen. I don't even get past the EA site loading screen, and it just keeps saying loading. I've restarted my pc several times, repaired the game, even read other people's problems who are similar and did what was suggested, and nothing has fixed it.I also don't have any expansion packs or mods installed, so it should be loading. I just want to play the Sims at least one more time before I leave for trade School on Monday

If this doesn't or didn't help, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
