You must have The Sims 4 registered to your EA account to access online features

Could you try to log out and log in again in the Origin client? Also, if you have Origin in offline mode, please try again while Origin is online.

In case that doesn't work, could you let us know in which version of Windows or MacOS are you playing?

Hi I noticed this situation happened over a year ago, but it just happened to me today. Is there a way I can fix it myself?

I logged out and then logged back in and Origin was online, but it's still not working 😞. My internet at home is working fine though, and I'm playing on Windows 10 Pro.

I had been gone a few days and just got back and have been having this problem all afternoon. I've tried logging in and out of my Origins again several times, and I reinstalled Origin from scratch.

I've had the Sims 4 for a few months now and have always been able to use the gallery until now. I decided to change my EA username and email yesterday and it stopped working after that, giving me the "You must have The Sims 4 registered to your EA account to access online features." message every time I try to connect. I verified my email, repaired the game, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, changed my email back to my old one, yadda yadda, and nothing's working. I can't seem to find any help after searching every Sims/gamer forum ever to exist, either. Is anyone else having this issue? Any sort of help will be seriously appreciated. Thanks, all.

Also, @notsosmallfry remembers having changed their username and email just before the Gallery stopped working, have any of you done something similar?

I'm using Windows 10 Pro and I'm in the US. The first time this happened I hadn't changed anything. If you want details, I clicked on a lot that I saved to my library and I clicked on a hashtag that was in the description. All it did was load for a long time, so I gave up on waiting for it to load and when I clicked the "Community" tab the message came up for the first time. It hasn't worked at all since then. Hopefully this gets figured out soon!
