My sim won't give birth

Hey! So the situation is a bit complicated because at this point I’m not sure if I might have a corrupted save file and I really don’t want to lose it. During the time when most players couldn’t get their Sims pregnant due to the bug from July 1st, somehow my Sim did get pregnant. I didn’t use a pregnancy test, just tried "Try for Baby" again, and the game said the Sim was already pregnant. She had the right moodlets and everything looked fine. The problem now is with giving birth — every time labor starts, everything works up until the moment I enter the baby’s name. Then the game freezes, the babies don’t appear, and I have to force close the game. Game files say it's updated to the latest version (even though EA app didn’t notify me). I tried a clean vanilla version — the issue still happens. Also, weirdly, a burglar shows up during labor. PC specs: high-end (32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD). I use mods and CC. All expansion packs installed.
