Bring back The Sims & The Sims 2!
I have lots of great memories playing The Sims and The Sims 2. It would be great to see them made available on the EA App so we don't have to worry about old discs and compatibility mods.

I agree! It'd probably have to be a remastered version to work with Windows 10/11 and DirectX since those original games came out so long but I'd be willing to pay to have working copies of both of those games.
I'd also like them to bring back MySims or give us a new version of that on console.
EA re-released quite a few old games this year, such as SimCity 3000. If they can get those old games working, they should be able to get the old Sims games working too!
I never played MySims so it would be great to have those games on modern consoles (or PC). I would like to see some of the old Sims console games brought back too.
Yes, they can definitely update these games and re-release them. Maybe, it'll get enough interest to give us new games in the series. My Sims was absolutely adorable and it reminded me a bit of Animal Crossing. Now that cozy games are a genre in the gaming community, I'm sure many others would be interested in this kind of game as well.
I got Sims 2 when it was free on Origin back in the day and I got The Sims and The Sims Stories series from a not-quite-legitimate source 👀 but I would actually love an updated version that runs on newer systems. If anything I just love the music from both of them, they make me so nostalgic 😂
You're lucky, I missed the boat for the Sims 2 on Origin. The fact that some people have it shows they could put it for sale if they wanted to, though. I remember having a Sims Stories game on my MacBook when I was a student, would love to play that again!

I'd also like them to release at least Sims 1 (already have 2 - 4). I want to experience burglers lol 😄. Also loved the music in Sims 1.
The music that played when a burglar appeared on the lot always gave me chills!
I got The Sims 2 when they released it ...but...PLEASE release the original!!! It would be amazing!
The original had so much charm that the later games lack. It would be great to introduce it to a new generation of simmers.

Yeah, I'd be happy to pay to own them again. I'm hearing rumours about a cloud release of the older games but I don't want to pay a monthly fee!
I have Sims 2 UC but I've said many times that if they updated it to work with modern machines without all the tweaking we currently have to do and did a few bug fixes, I'd pay for a new copy.
Agreed! I had the games and most of the packs back in the day but I'd happily pay again for a legal digital copy.
