I installed sims 1 and select Thai language when installed. But when i entered the game, the game still in English. Then, i try to change in game properties by switch to other language and change back to Thai. App install some language patch but the game still in English. Please help me!! How to change the game language!!! T^T

zomzaa555 I tried changing the game to Thai, and everything was in Thai as far as I could see, including in an existing save. I'm not sure why it didn't work for you, but please clear the EA App's cache:

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

and try again. If that doesn't help, repair the game after switching to Thai.

kanajii Do you see the option to play in Japanese, but selecting it doesn't do anything; or do you not see the option at all? Does it help to uninstall the game and reinstall in Japanese?

View properties → Language → Japan Even if you change this to another language (Korea, Thailand), it will remain English. Restarting didn't help either.

kanajii Have you tried installing the game in Japanese, not simply switching the language after you install the game? I want to be sure either way.

Steam version, can't change the language to Russian, I know the game is not translated, but there is game files with space for Russian localization, I can translate the text but I cannot make game load the language it is disabled in .exe

Could you provide a bit more detail on this to help us look into this further please-

Are you playing through the EA app, Steam or Epic? Was the game still running when you tried to change the language?

The first time you played the game was it in English, and are you still using the game save that you created in that first session?

Are some parts of the game in your selected language, and some parts (e.g. neighborhood descriptions) still in English, or is the entire game in English?

An in-game Option to select the game language would be so adorable in all the sims games, starting from The Sims 1 Legacy.
Seriously, half of the messages on this forum is regarding the unclear and non-intuitive game language change. It's 2025 guys, it's a simple drop list function.

Hello :)
I have the same problem with German. I downloaded the games 1 and 2 in German. Unfortunately the entire games are in English and support couldn't help me either. I play on PC with Wondows 11.
I have already done the following:
- changed the language in the app
- reinstalled the game
- deleted the cash from the EA app
- updated the app
