@luckyheather this is such a stunning entry. The whole colour scheme is so calming but vibrant and the flowers everywhere are just beautiful. They add a softness to the room that I love. The butterfly lights frame the kitchen area beautifully and the pictures offer a nice symmetry to the room being on opposite walls. I really like that you've added sofas for Sims to sit and enjoy being in the kitchen surrounded by all the plants and butterfly decorations. Super cute build ♥
@meowcatmeowkitty This is a really lovely build - you deserved a maxis fave! Well done! It's really cute that you designed the kitchen after monarch butterflies - a lot of effort went in to matching the orange, black and white in such an elegant way. I love the added detail that the columns give to the room - they separate the kitchen and the entry way in an obvious but not obstructive way. The handmade flowers above the window add a lovely touch that makes the room feel lived in and cozy. Beautiful ♥
@Valuzza90 your kitchen is so cute! Absolutely inspired that you used that wallpaper with the butterflies on - would never have thought to use that but it adds a softness to the room and obviously fits perfectly with the theme this week. And the breakfast bar shaped like butterfly wings - you are a genius! That's such a beautiful detail that adds so much to the kitchen - it's practical and gorgeous! The added clutter around the kitchen makes it look lived in and homely. Well done ♥
@gmcrozier I love that breakfast area! The booth sofa in the counter is a really nice design feature, I've never seen that before! I like that you've gone for a really white neutral kitchen but you've added pops of vibrant colour with the curtains and flowers and butterfly decorations. This kitchen would fit really nicely in a big countryside home. You've filled the large space really nicely and the room has a lovely flow to it; you can definitely imagine how a Sim would move around in it. Great job ♥
@jeswainston65 immediately the colours are jumping out at me - I love the happy yellows and the calm blues, what a lovely colour scheme to go with! That breakfast bar is a really interesting shape that I haven't seen before or would've thought to do - its so cool! I like that you used the blue counters and cabinets, a brave choice but it certainly paid off! I like the layered rugs, they remind me of a flower patch. The flowers dotted around are a lovely touch, and the wall art looks beautiful how you've arranged it on the wall. Well done! ♥
@Walrus2096 oooo this is so beautiful! The white paired with the browns and reds and oranges looks so elegant and charming. I love that wall of books - I imagine Belinda has a lot of books on cooking and nature and butterflies that she reads while she bakes. The wall of arranged butterfly pictures looks so lovely - it's like she's taken a picture of each butterfly shes found and hung them on the wall to remind her of the lovely nature outside. The tastefully-arranged clutter all around the reading area definitely speaks to me that she's a collector. You've shared a really gorgeous room ♥
@WoWDiva92 your kitchen is so vibrant and beautiful! The blue wall tiles really open up the room and makes me think of the sky outside, and the butterfly decorations looks like they're flying out in the open air. I love that you've paired the blue with vivid yellow accents, and the added pops of colour with the flowers and the wall art are stunning. Using the white counters and cabinets adds some classy neutral tones to the room, and I really like the breakfast bar that you designed with the blue stools. This is a very homely kitchen with a lot of character packed into it. Super cute! ♥
@ZKirian Wow wow wow! First of all I have to talk about that mural wall - the butterfly made out of the lights and the trees with the butterfly leaves are a stunning addition to this room. Its definitely the talking piece when you see this room for the first time! You've carried the blue and yellow colour scheme through this room beautifully. The clutter on the counters are really cute and I like the addition of the butterfly artwork to the walls - they introduce more colours into the room in a gentle way. The ceiling fan is a nice touch - I imagine if a Sim stepped into this room they'd see the blue walls and feel the gentle breeze from the fan and think they were outside! Really lovely design, well done ♥
@SimTresa seeing a tiny kitchen was a really nice surprise! The delicate pink colours and the small space makes me think that you've actually modeled the kitchen to mimic a butterfly! The butterfly artwork is a nice addiction to the white walls, they bring more colours into the room so that it's got some dimension. This is a kitchen that anyone could add to their build, you've really kept the players in mind! Super cute, well done ♥
@gladlypants I am absolutely not surprised that you got a Maxis Fave - you always share amazing builds! And you definitely didn't disappoint this week - what an absolutely beautiful kitchen you've designed! This reminds me of a greenhouse with all the windows and flowers and fairy lights, it's just so stunning. The hanging plants are a gorgeous feature that frame the mirror, and I love the ladybug-inspired rug under the table! The mismatched chairs around the table are so artful and the clutter around the kitchen gives it character. Honestly nothing I say will do justice to how amazing this room is, but thank you so much for sharing this room! ♥
@AlJay this is so pretty! You've created a wonderful countryside kitchen. The white counters and cabinets and stools are so lovely paired together to create a really welcoming kitchen to be in. The pops of vibrant colours added by the flowers dotted around add so much to the character of the room - it's like Belinda has brought her garden into her kitchen to remind her of the butterflies. The artwork is lovely, it looks like Belinda has painted the canvases herself with her favourite butterflies. The open windows are inspired - they add a lovely dimension to the room! You've created a really beautiful room, well done ♥
@chips46 your kitchen is so gorgeous! Those rugs arranged to look like a butterfly is a beautiful touch. The wall with the tree and butterflies arranged to look like leaves is an amazing feature. I like that you've established an overall colour scheme with the orange and green and blacks, but you've added extra colours with the flowers and butterfly wall art. I really like the rainbow curtains you've added - these a soft enough to let in natural light and frame the window beautifully. What a wonderful creation, thank you for sharing ♥
@Fizzstix your kitchen is lovely! I like that you've gone with the blue and yellow colour scheme, with the accents of white and beige. The rug and the wall decorations give the room nice additions of colour that compliment the overriding scheme! You've created an interesting shape with the diagonal wall that adds a small eating area under the lovely happy picture. The butterfly wallart is incorporated really nicely too! This room has a lot of character and I'm sure Belinda would be really happy with this design. Well done ♥
