yes it’s a self imposed deadline because for 18 months Evergreen has run like clockwork and I’m only behind because Gen VIII is a big finish to a very long storyline and I’ve become a perfectionist about it. Problem is my type of perfectionism is “if I don’t do it, then I can’t do it badly” which means things don’t get done 😂 I’m confident I’ll get it done but I need to get past my own silliness first 😂
Oh I feel that stress, I’m lucky Sims 3 doesn’t get updated (never thought I’d say that). I’m feeling the same about time and schedules and screenshots ending up not being what I want so I’m opting for writing then playing and doing what I did with Gen IV (funnily enough I was also on a tight deadline for that one too). I prefer to play it through genuinely but in this case they are my puppets and I shall be their master and photographer 😂 I agree, don’t put too much pressure on and make sure you enjoy it! Ironically I absolutely love writing Evergreen so I need to get out of my own way, maybe if I lure myself away with biscuits…
